Clairville York is a successful growing financial planning business based in Cheam, Surrey. They deliver holistic financial planning to a wide range of clients including individuals, companies and trusts.
Continued success & growth means that they now have a vacancy for an additional Trainee Paraplanner. They have a structured, although not too structured, training and development programme, at the end of which you will be a qualified Paraplanner.
This is an excellent route to a career as a Paraplanner or a Financial Planner with genuine room for growth and career progression.
Duties and responsibilities
Your main duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Product research
- Technical research
- Writing advice reports
- Assisting in recommendations
- Creating financial plans
- Attending client meetings
What does the successful candidate look like?
The successful candidate could be a University Graduate, or School Leaver with very good grades, ideally with 1-2 years’ work experience in financial services. You must be numerate and articulate as written and spoken language skills are essential. A keen eye for detail is also essential. You should have good IT skills including a knowledge of Excel and Word and must be able to work independently, once trained, and manage your workload to deadlines. It would be a plus if you have started professional qualifications.
A Financial Administrator who would like to progress into Paraplanning would also be an excellent candidate for the role.
Salary & Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £24,000 – £30,000.
