The purpose of this role is to act as a Paraplanner within the business and to provide timely and a high standard of support to the financial advisers. This will particularly suit you if you enjoy client interaction but do not wish to manage your own client bank.

Duties and responsibilities

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • First point of contact for a number of clients.
  • Attending/taking client review meetings (predominantly virtual).
  • Annual review meeting preparation (with administrative support).
  • Research (including cashflow) and writing both templated and bespoke suitability reports.
  • Adhering to internal procedures, the CIP and financial planning house views.

What does the successful candidate look like?


  • Level 4 Diploma qualified with the desire to become Chartered.
  • Graduate preferable
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of compliance.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, Adviser Office, Volume, FE Analytics and Voyant.

Salary & Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £50,000+ dependant on experience and qualifications. A company discretionary bonus scheme is available to all employees.

Experience (Essential):  at least 2-3 years Paraplanning experience

Qualifications (Essential): Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) with desire to become chartered or on route to chartered.
