Package Details:

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £35,000-£50,000 Per Annum

  • Route to Adviser at this point, you will receive full Administration and Paraplanning support as paraplanners attend all client meeting alongside the adviser

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of this role is to carry out the Paraplanning duties for clients and Advisers with a view to becoming part of management at the earliest opportunity. The role includes attending all client review meetings, preparing financial planning strategies, cashflow modelling, report construction and maintaining close client contact, ensuring the highest possible standard of client service and playing a key role in the business including suggestion of improvements and refinements of our proposition.

Alongside various paths for advancement, it also provides a rare opportunity to undergo training and become a fully certified Financial Adviser/Manager. With in-depth support and encouragement the pace at which you transition into an Adviser/Manager is entirely within your control. Within 3-5 years, there's the expectation of you being in joint ownership with other Managers as the owner plans to retire in the next 4 years, making this a significant aspect to consider. Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Preparing financial planning solutions.
  • Preparing cashflow models and strategy for/with the Adviser.
  • Writing suitability reports/annual review reports
  • Providing high level technical support.
  • Manage your portfolio of clients jointly with advisers.
  • Accurately execute high worth investment transactions.
  • Provide a role model for other paraplanners
  • Create and implement processes and procedures.
  • Be the primary point of contact for your portfolio of clients
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and gain the respect of other staff

The Ideal Employee:

Relevant Skills/Experience

  • 2+ years Paraplanning experience
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning – DipPFS or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and numeracy skills both written and oral.
  • High personal ethical standards and a passion for excellence.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have a forward-looking, positive attitude and a sense of humour.
  • Have potential for management and ownership responsibilities
