Trainee Financial Advisor

The purpose of this role is to take the relevant exams and training to become a financial adviser and follow the path to step into the financial adviser role.

Duties and responsibilities

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Conducting in-depth reviews of client's financial circumstances, current provisions and future aims along with the Lifestyle Account Manager
• Working with the Technical Team, analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
• Completing risk analysis
• Along with the Technical Team, researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services.
• Designing financial strategies
• Assisting clients to make informed decisions
• Researching information from various sources, including providers of financial products
• Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances either yearly or six monthly
• Promoting and advising on financial products to meet given or negotiated sales targets
• Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
• Working with the Technical Team to produce Suitable financial reports bespoke to the client’s needs
• Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments
• Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products.

Salary & Benefits:

• Within this role, our client will fully fund your Level 4 Diploma in financial advice to give you a kickstart into becoming a financial adviser.
• Within 12 months, you will be qualified.
• Once qualified, you will be provided with client leads within an hour of where you live to give advice to.
• You will earn £25,000 in your first year, averagely £50,000 in your second and £75,000+ from year 3 onwards.
